Imagine being able to offer your customers their pick of a choice of start dates for their new broadband service and confirm it with confidence right there and then.
This is what BT Wholesale plans with its new ‘Name The Day’ broadband facility. It’s the latest in a number of initiatives to improve the customer experience not only for you as a broadband service provider but also for your customers each time they contact you.
HELPING YOU TO MAKE THE SALE
At the point in the order where you are looking to make an appointment for the broadband service provision, Name The Day (NTD) will in future provide your call centre agents with a simple-to-use online portal where they can see the next available diary dates for supply of a broadband service to a customer’s home or business. The portal can present up to 20 possible date s in just 10 seconds so there’s nothing to halt the flow of the conversation or the efficiency of your order-taking. And once your customer has selected the most convenient day to fit their busy schedule, your agent can book it at once, secure in the knowledge that it’s a guaranteed appointment.
SAVING TIME, REDUCING COST
The result for you will be important savings in time and administration costs and fewer risks of having to inconvenience your customers with appointment cancellations and re-scheduling. And for your customers there’s the satisfaction of a prompt and streamlined service from their very first point of contact with you – plus the delivery of their broadband service as promised. NTD is currently in development with our initial service trials planned for Quarter 1 08/09.
GIVE US YOUR THOUGHTS
If you’d like to know more, you can download a short video about the proposed service – including comments from Rob Hamilton-Day, a Senior Manager at AOL, on the advantages it holds for his company.
We also invite you to contribute to the development of NTD by letting us have your questions and your views on this initiative. Simply send an e-mail to Broadband.feedback@BT.com quoting 'Name the Day' in the subject box. Or speak to your BT Wholesale Account Manager.
