VoIP is evolving and success in the market increasingly depends upon interoperability between network operators. This webcast addressed some of the key issues and describes the new BT Wholesale interoperability solution: IP Exchange. During this half hour studio discussion the host, James Bellini, talks to Camille Mendler, senior analyst at leading research company, Yankee Group, about the needs of the market now and into the future. Camille’s central argument is that companies seeking to make the most of the growth of VoIP and increase the use of video over mobile really need to get to grips with interoperability now! We then hear from Bill Holford, BT Wholesale’s Head of Field Sales, about how IP Exchange has been designed to give you the power to do just that. He provides an overview of the scope of the product, and how it reduces complexity and may enable you to generate new revenues going forward. Lee Hollis, Head of Product Management for IP Exchange, then tells us how it works, and goes into some detail about current offers that make the proposition extremely attractive in both the short and long term. The programme is a succinct but lively analysis of the issue of interoperability and the benefits of IP Exchange, which ends with some questions from the broadcast’s live audience. It’s compelling viewing. To view a replay of this important webcast, follow the links from the right hand menu.
